Barry Kilgore, a 6th generation Texan, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. While attending Graduate School, pursuing a Master of Science Degree, Barry decided to follow his lifelong dream of getting into radio. A more than 40 year career followed and is still going with his “Family Law Radio” Program on KSEV AM 700 in Houston, Texas. Barry has worked in several major markets, including 26 years in Houston. His shows have been ranked #1 in the various markets and he still holds the record for the highest ratings in Arbitron survey history at 41.2 in Austin, Texas. Barry has been the voice for the Texas Crime Stopper Program, the United States Department of Justice, Lockheed in association with the Pentagon, NASA, Rockwell Space Operations, the Army, Navy, Air Force & Marines recruiting campaign, numerous political campaigns, the Disney Corporation, has been an Adjunct Professor of Broadcast Technology at Houston Community College, won numerous awards both locally and nationally and was recently selected to the 2008 Heritage Registry of Who’s Who in America for his work with Fathers For Equal Rights and his media accomplishments. This Heritage Registry is to be placed in the libraries of every major college & university in the United States and also in the Library of Congress in Washington D. C.
Lawrence J. Behrmann, Texas Attorney. Married 21 years to Mara Behrmamn, they have 3 children. Started his law carrier as a JAG officer for the United States Marine Corps. Stationed in Okinawa Japan, Captain Behrmann wrote a weekly column "The Devil's Advocate" for the local military newspaper on issues from divorce, child support and paternity to wills, immigrant marriage and consumer problems. Lawrence was also an instructor in Business Law for the University of Maryland (overseas branch). For the past 17 years, Houston has been Lawrence's home and place of his principal law business. Primary practice has focused on complex issues that affect families. Lawrence's experience is extensive: simple to complex divorces involving hidden property, parental alienation, taxes, custody, etc., International Child Abduction, Military Family Support, Contested Probate, Business Dissolution and Creation, Paternity (getting child support from a "cash" only parent), pre/post marital agreements. Most of all, Lawrence fights for his client rights and has prevailed for parents who were wrongfully jailed, beaten and abused by their spouses (unfortunately I have seen abusive Dads and Moms). Lawrence has won many appeals. Early in his carrier Lawrence won on appeal a child support case that has been used by the Attorney General of Texas to train their new lawyers. Lawrence has been First Chair in many successful custody jury trials. First chair means that he was the attorney in charge of the whole case.
